Cows and calves in May

What a lovely sight to see the young animals on the hillside - on the permissive path running from the Bridlepath at Warminster end of Codford down to Green lane

Ducklings

Well, we've seen ducklings on the R Wylye betwen Codford and Sherrington, but mum is very protective, and when she senses us near she takes the ducklings quickly out of view so I haven't been able to photogtraph them.  8 at the last count.  Other dog-walkers along the river have also reported shell ducks and geese with goslings - anybosy else seen them?

Sunday Family Worship at St Mary's, Sunday 1st May 2011

We learnt how the disciples knew Jesus was - rather is - alive because He met each of them.  He meets us too.  It dawned on me that He met them, after His resurrection, at their point of need - Mary, Thomas, Peter, the 2 on the road to Emmaus - WOW - he meets us at our point of need too - AND He shares the good and happy times with us.

William's and Kate's Codford Wedding Tea Party 29th April 2011

We had a happy tea party too to celebrate with them
