snowdrops

Here are those lovely snowdrops on Bob's birthday walk,  just Sherrington side of A36 coming out of Codford at St Peter's end (not far from the rail crossing sown the dead end road!)

St Mary's 11am Sun 20th Feb

At Parish Communion this morning we sang very heartily!  including "How great Thou art"

Diana shared how we should love as Jesus loves - the Bible reading today said "even our 'enemies'" How hard is that - but how precious when we find we can live in that way - another treasure.  God is good,

Yesterday, Bob's 65th birthday, we walked with his family accross the 'other side of the A36' along the river with our dogs too.  We saw sooooooooo many snowdrops
and a few winter aconites - so bright.  What a treasure!
Have fun!
Sincerely
Chrissie (Taylor)

birds now seen in our garden since we moved in on 8-10-11

Since we moved in we've seen the following
blackbird
robin
house sparrow
blue tit
long tailed tit
wren
pied wagtail
hopefully when the garden is planted out a bit, we'll see lot more.
We put a tit box up last week

Rector's ramble 6-2-11

Had a wonderful ramble on Sun: see my diary blo.
But the 'treasure' was to see our first celandines this year
